Oxford Hub recently opened our Windale Community Hub at Windale Primary School in the Leys, OX4. Our community hub brings together local groups working to tackle inequalities of health, education and opportunity.
What does Oxford Hub do?
We aim to make positive social change at three levels:
We support individuals to thrive by working together with people to improve their mental and physical wellbeing
We enable everyone to actively connect with their community
We provide opportunities for people to realise their own power and make change in their lives, their neighbourhoods, our city and beyond.
There’s something for everyone at Oxford Hub, from Schools Plus – supporting children to fulfil their academic potential, to Parent Power – creating a network of local parents to support each other to achieve their dreams for their families.
“We don’t need to be tackling a crisis to make a difference. I’ve learned not to underestimate how people’s participation in their community can create sustainable change” — social work placement student
How are we building a better Oxford?
We run programmes that make a real difference in the community, from tutoring and mentoring to drop-ins for parents. Click here to view all of our current programmes.
